Jesuit spirituality instructs us to encounter "God in All Things." This is especially true during trying and difficult times. Join us as we learn from and reflect with two faith leaders from within the JCU alumni community.Ìý Rev. Cyril Pinchak, S.J. '06Ìý²¹²Ô»åÌýPastor Laura Kisthardt '13Ìýwill share their thoughts on theÌýresponse toÌýPsalm 90:3-4Ìý"In every age, O Lord, you have been our refuge."ÌýThey willÌýinvite participants to engage in meaningful conversation about faith, God, and strength during challenging moments in our lives.

About our featured faith leaders

majored in English and minored in Psychology at JCU. Born and raised in Shaker Heights, he joined the Jesuits in 2006. He has studied Philosophy, Theology, and English. He taught English and coached cross-country, hockey, and track at University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy. He was ordained a priest in 2017 and has spent the last three years in Rome, Italy where he recently completed a Licentiate in Theology studying Eastern Catholic Patristic Theology at the Pontifical Oriental Institute. He currently teaches Theology at St. Ignatius High School.

graduated from Â鶹Éç in 2013. While at John Carroll, Laura studied PoliticalÌýScience and was active with Campus Ministry. Laura recently graduated from Yale Divinity School with her Masters in Divinity and will be ordained in the United Church of Christ this fall. She is associate pastor at First Congregational Church of Southington in Connecticut. Laura enjoys helping others deepen their spiritual lives by sharing contemplative prayer practices, inspired by her introduction to Ignatian spirituality while at John Carroll.

God in All ThingsÌýis a spiritual program that allows alumni, students, parents, faculty, and staff to connect with faith leaders within the John Carroll Community. It allows participants to reflect and discuss spiritual and secular topics, while deepening their connection to God and strengthening their relationships with the JCU community.Ìý
