Nursing Prerequisites

After admittance to JCU, you will begin as a pre-nursing student. After successfully completing two semesters of prerequisite coursework and meeting the GPA requirements, you will be eligible to continue on to the B.S.N. program.

Curriculum: What You Will Learn

You'll develop comprehensive nursing knowledge and clinical skills through pre-nursing prerequisites, core courses, and specialized nursing coursework. The program prepares you to be clinicians, critical thinkers, leaders, coordinators and designers of healthcare with holistic skills for culturally diverse patients in complex care settings.
