Program Overview & Outcomes
At 麻豆社, you will gain a broad background in mathematics and build essential career skills along the way. Among our program’s learning outcomes, math majors will develop:
- mathematical attitudes and perceptions that support lifelong learning and human flourishing
- quantitative reasoning skills that allow you to navigate society as engaged and informed citizens
- written and oral communication skills emphasizing clarity and precision of language
During your four years in the program, you’ll have opportunities to apply what you’re learning through projects, research, and internships. Additionally, many math students double major in areas like data science or computer science — which gives you greater career flexibility.
Curriculum: What You Will Learn
You'll develop a foundational understanding of Calculus, Algebra, and Real Analysis along with electives in related areas that will prepare you to pursue a career or graduate study in an area that requires the ability to analyze problems mathematically. Many students in the major complete internships in the region.
