Higher Learning Commission (HLC)
JCU is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Concerns about the institution's ability to meet HLC's expectations may be sent to HLC directly using their Complaints process.
State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA)
John Carroll participates in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA), which facilitates distance education access across state lines.
